European and African Day

This presentation has been made by our pupils. This year the Europen Day had to do with Portugal. We had exhibitions, music and food from this country. In Sorzano parents come from different countries, so we tasted food from Morocco, Bulgaria, Romania and Spain too.

EUROPE DAY

News & Events
The Official Europe Day celebration took place on the morning of May 5th, organized by La Rioja Department of Education. Our school was invited to this event, with other primary and secondary schools from our Autonomous Community, and our children danced and sang The Europe Rap.
Apart from that, in our class, we were talking about Europe symbols and history. We sang the Ode of Joy and we made some drawings.

The European Anthem - The EU anthem is the 'Ode to Joy', adapted from the final movement of Ludwig van Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
The European Motto - ‘United in Diversity' is the motto of the EU.
European Coin - The Euro
