Traveling USA
Today, Brianna and me have to participate in a course for teachers about International Programmes. We will talk about the language and culture assistants in our region. Brianna Livsey is at the moment in my school and Lucy Holcomb was here last year. Both of them work hard with our pupils. I have some PPT from Lucy published in the blog and these are some for Brianna.

Seabiscuit and Red Pollard - Primary 5&6
Last week we read in class an amazing story about a racehorse and a jockey, american heroes in the 1940s. Seabiscuit was the racehorse, a champion and a symbol of hope to many US citizens during the Great Depression. Red Pollard was Seabiscuit’s jockey. He was blind in one eye. In 1940 they won the Santa Anita Handicap, California's most prestigious race. Both of them are still very popular in USA.
There are some movies about their story, one of them is called SEABISCUIT. Here you can watch the trailer.
